Telemedicine & Remote Care

Telemedicine Consent

Last revised January 17, 2026

By continuing with the Thryvera medical intake, you consent to the use of telemedicine and authorize our licensed providers to evaluate and treat you remotely. Please review the following information carefully. If you have questions, contact support@thryvera.com before proceeding.
01

Nature of Telemedicine

Telemedicine allows a licensed clinician to evaluate, diagnose, and treat you without an in-person visit. Consultations may occur through secure messaging, audio, video, or phone. Because no physical examination is performed, providers rely on the accuracy and clarity of the information and photos you submit.

02

Scope of Services

Thryvera offers evaluation and treatment for dermatologic conditions appropriate for telehealth. If clinically appropriate, a provider may prescribe a personalized prescription-strength skincare formulation.

Providers may decline treatment or recommend in-person medical care if:

  • telemedicine is not suitable for your presentation,
  • a physical examination is required,
  • information submitted is incomplete or unclear, or
  • treatment is not medically recommended.

Thryvera does not treat medical emergencies. In an emergency, call 911 or seek immediate in-person care.

03

Risks, Benefits & Alternatives

Potential benefits include convenience, timely access to care, and the ability to receive treatment remotely.

Potential risks include:

  • delays due to technical issues,
  • incomplete information impacting clinical decision-making,
  • rare unauthorized access despite security safeguards.

Alternatives include an in-person visit with a dermatologist or primary care provider.

04

Privacy & Security

Your information is protected under HIPAA and handled according to our Privacy Policy. Security safeguards include encryption, access controls, and secure audit logging. Despite these measures, no system can guarantee absolute protection from unauthorized access.

05

Communications

By using Thryvera, you consent to receive communications related to your care via:

  • secure portal messaging,
  • email,
  • SMS (where permitted), and
  • HIPAA-compliant audio or video platforms.

All communications become part of your medical record.

06

Prescription & Fulfillment

If treatment is approved, your prescription may be filled by Thryvera's licensed dispensing facility. If you prefer another licensed pharmacy, email support@thryvera.com or send a secure message. We will transmit the prescription provided the receiving pharmacy can legally prepare the formulation. Filling externally may affect cost, timing, or availability.

Thryvera does not prescribe controlled substances, weight-loss medications, GLP-1 agents, or drugs outside our dermatology scope.

07

Financial Responsibility

When you submit your medical intake, a temporary authorization is placed on your card for the first-month total (e.g., $119), which includes a $20 clinical consultation component.

  • If treatment is not approved, the full authorization is released automatically.
  • If treatment is approved, the authorization is captured as payment for your first shipment.

Telemedicine services provided through Thryvera are not billable to Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance plans, and you agree not to submit claims for reimbursement.

08

Patient Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and complete medical history and photos
  • Confirm that the information you submit is truthful and pertains to you
  • Follow treatment instructions
  • Contact a provider promptly if side effects occur
  • Seek urgent care if your condition worsens or becomes emergent
09

Right to Withdraw Consent

You may withdraw your telemedicine consent at any time by contacting support@thryvera.com. Withdrawal does not affect care already provided but may limit your ability to continue using Thryvera.
